That would sound like the best thing to do Vicky, in step's spread the cost, microchip the one's you are going/planning to release and the other's later, when needed.

I don't think they will do a paper swap when over 100mm, another don't understand how they arrived at a small size, someone mentioned a group of vet's came in at that size for microchipping.

is it not the case though that it's £25 for one but £25 for all 5 so it would make sense to get all the certs at once

its also the cost of the chipping I paid £30 each for my adults but know that it varies from vet to vet so if you have several it would be costly to get them all chipped at the same time. However you could get the chipping done over a period then when they are all done then apply for the certificates in a batch. One a month wouldn't be to bad

no , its a requirement that once there over 100mm they have to be chipped.

that is partly true Alan, but they all need to be from the same sorce ie; the a10 numbers are the same except the last 3 digits
