If they are all lettuces then only in moderation as too much junk food can cause runny poos.

I'm not familiar with them except lollo blondo, which is the white opposite of red Lollo Rosso I'd imagine. I tried lollo rosso once and it didn't get eaten. I stick to romaine and radicchio to bulk out weeds in the winter. Usually I can find sowthistle, Cat's Ear and slender plantain through the winter months. Good luck!

Hi
The problem is they don't sell them separately. Also tortoise trust advises a wide variety of lettuces as possible. And rotation rather than using the same is key http://www.tortoisetrust.org/enews/ |

The key to feeding lettuce without runny poos is feeding with hay they recommend readigrass

Hello
I have just had a reply from the tortoise table and they say they are all OK for tortoises. But remember to feed with dried weeds and hay |

If you want to fibre up winter food, have a look at buying some Pre Alpen cobs. Lots of tort owners use this (including me). If you do a search on here you'll find a lot of posts about it and where to buy. xx

I grow plants in sheltered places in my garden so if I have to keep any of mine up (thanfully not often) I have plants suitable for them. Is there any reason you are not hibernating you tortoises? As hibernation stops all the problems of junk foods and your tortoises growing to fast:0)

I think Jade's tort may be an indian star - might be wrong and apologies if I am. should be weeds above lettuce anytime though I am a sucker for the crunch of iceberg with some of mine v v occasionally. trouble is they then expect it, CB
