Anyone identify this weed please?
Started growing grass and weeds etc. for my Sulcata last year. These appear to have taken over but I wanted to make sure they were something I'd planted and if not, if they are suitable for Sulky to eat?
The leaves are similar to nettles to touch. Does anyone know what these are please? https://www.dropbox.com/s/rj3c71hbbn....51-1.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/8ruvgyxplz...37.07.jpg?dl=0 |

Interesting one. I'm in Glasgow and get out and about a fair bit and I don't recognise this plant at all.
It reminds me of the willowherbs though, of which there are quite a few. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=wi...hUEOBQKHRw9ADQ

Thank you. yes, I can see the similarity there. It's in the right place where I did sprinkle a seed/flower mix from Shelled Warriors but it's also possible the soil may have contained other weeds. I wasn't sure about him eating leaves with this texture on though.

Hmmmmm it does look like willow herb but I'm not convinced the flowers on willow herb cluster like that.

I just thought it might be a willowherb that I don't know. It's not any of the common UK willowherbs. Shetland does have some unique plants - maybe it's one of those? I don't think it's something that you typically get in a tortoise seed mix.
