Default SEXING AND BEHAVIOR?

Hi i know it takes some time for us to be able to sex a tortoise but i was wondering if you put 2 males together at a young age would they demonstrate the masculin behavior towards each other or does this kick in when sexual maturity does?

If males are clutch mates, then far less likely to fight, as they sort of get used to who is the
alpha male. But if a male is brought in, then far more likely to be some sort of dominace until
they have sorted who is the alpha.
I have three male ibera (two adults one far younger) the two adults fought for about two weeks
then they got on ok. They do have the odd spat when its hot, but not much damage done.
Some can be really nasty, I have seen a male hermans really do damage to another brought
in because the first seemed to be firing blanks, and a fertile male needed.
But like all things they vary.

Thanks sandy but does this occur with sexual maturity or would we be able to determine sexes alot earlier using their behaviour?

You cant rely on sexing by behaviour when very young. As it has been known for females to
be dominant too. But not as often as males.
