Screened Top soil does not mean alot realy, just that it has passd through seives a few times to get out most of the stones and debris, the source of the soil can be suspect in cheaper bags. There is a standard for pure soil from about 16 remaining quarries/sites in the uk, the number should be BS 3882/2007 this guarentee's no units of heavy metals and hydrocarbons or pollutants/contaminant's. Not sure if B&Q has this on the bag. We sometimes use the pure soil at work on the Golf course on or near the Greens.

Oh my . . Glass, sticks and stones are one thing, but a dead mouse, that really is going to far. What colour was it?

I would have been out cold on the floor. I found a dead mouse in my grandas mop bucket once, I had to go get his neighbour to sort it as my gramps was out, I couldn't eat for the rest of the day

Imagine you found an abandoned puppy in the B&Q bag That really would be the furthest they could go

Last week I discovered, believe it or not, what appeared to be a small fossilised stone in mine. I am now combing each bag with an archaeologist's eye!
