Hello and welcome

I'll try and help a bit with what you need - firstly I would put your tortoise in a tortoise table rather
than a viv, it will be much better for it. You can make a really cheap one from a bookcase - about £9.99
in Argos! For substrate you could use a 30/70% mix of sand and topsoil.
Also, it will need to go outside for the summer - lots of us are
putting ours outside now that some warmer weather is here. You can definitely put Tammy outside, she
doesn't need injections and doesn't need to wait until she a certain age! You will need to make her an
outside enclosure that is escape proof!

Horsfields love to dig and climb! As for lighting for your indoor
enclosure, you need a basking lamp and UV tube or a combined megaray, but I'm no expert on lighting and
find it all a bit confusing, so best wait for an expert to help you with that!

For food she needs weeds, weeds and more weeds. There are loads around at the moment, and things
like dandelion, dead nettle, plantain are good. They should be sprinkled with Nutrobal everyday, and
also provide cuttle fish and limestone flour (either make it into a cake or put a bowl of it in enclosure!)
You should also be bathing your tortoise at least every other day. As for hibernation, your tortoise
will really benefit from this. People have different ideas on hibernation but I think it's a good idea!
