I'd take Ed's advice over most peoples about Tortoises to be honest, not sure why people are being arsey. He's right, things change in the world of Tortoise husbandry from month to month.

All threads can be relevant if your struggling with that particular problem. Its good to read through them and jog your memory. I think a forum is preferable to many of the facebook sites in as much as you can search for particular subjects. You also get to know the posters and who's information and advise is trustworthy.

Ed likes to stir the pot and also tries to get people to think instead of being sheep

Big advantage about SW is the access to old threads, plus we live in a different climate here in the uk and face some different challenges

Ed - you going to be updating your books or too busy playing on FB

Lynnie Lou I think you might be taking us a bit too seriously here. Ed really enjoyed a bit of banter when he was a regular here. He gave as good as he got. And more at times.

All us old-timers would welcome him if he decided to stir things up a bit again.
