Default Bonus

I have just received an appointment for my USG injection at Edinburgh Infirmary on monday

That's about 8 weeks into the 18 week wait so must have been a cancellation seeing as it's 2 days notice but I'm not complaining. Hope it works . Also got a letter about my acupuncture for the nerve endings but no date yet. Anyway, I think I might do an extra lottery ticket today

there is a slight chance that this won't work and a chance that it will even make it worse but today my glass is half full rather than half empty

.. but if it doesn't work it will be the end of the world

I'm just home. He said 2-3 weeks before I know but he thinks it's unlikely to work because the tendon is torn and says it really needs an operation

The other doc told me last time that a) an op might not work either and b) it would mean I couldn't use my arm for some time so I'd be scuppered

I drove home ok but the anasthetic is wearing off now and he said it would be sore for 3 or 4 days

He said it may help to an extent by reducing inflammation in the joint and some other thing that begins with B but the tendon won't repair itself, won't heal up he says. we'll see, any improvement will do

at this moment it is no different to yesterday, certainly no sign of the 3-4 days pain but no improvement either. he did say it could take 2 to 3 weeks though if there was going to be an improvement at all
