Great pics Al and Michael.

I managed to get a few pics of the Ospreys but it was the rugby kind
Would love to see a pic of the bird kind tho

Great to see your wild Snake's out lad's. Cool pic's not many Adder's in Hull, must be to do with the truancy rate.

I didn't get any pics of the ospreys but I did manage to see them in action. my lens isn't really good enough for such a distance, it doesn't look far away when looking with your eyes but when you take a pic of it it looks like the size of a sparrow

I might still get one yet this year but it would have to come really close

There's no snakes over your way Clare so you are quite safe, they were all driven out of Ireland by some guy, can't remember who it was now

The is a truly gorgeous adder. I will mention that the larger one in the photo was probably the lady and the smaller one the male. Girls tend to get a bit bigger.

I'm not greatly amused at the slow worms in the garden so I really wouldn't be best pleased with a grass snake or adder!
My eldest son would be in raptures however! He loves snakes and spends far too much time in the meadow where he volunteers at a birds of prey centre, looking for (and finding) grass snakes and the occasional adder.

Your photos are very impressive though, both of them.
