Default Are any of these fridges suitable for hibernation?

I haven't decided wether to get a hermanns tortoise but am researching all aspects and cost etc.
So I would want to hibernate my little tortoise if I got one using a fridge.
I'm not sure my mum would be too happy with having a tortoise in the main family fridge.
So I am looking at finding a reasonable priced small (going in my bedroom) fridge suitable for hibernation.
I have come across some, are any suitable?:

2.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Husky-HUS-KN.../ref=de_a_smtd

3.http://www.amazon.co.uk/litre-Silent...outThisProduct

4.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Coolzone-Lit...outThisProduct

Thanks, oh and also if anyone knows any cheap suitable ones then notifying me would be great.

It might be an idea rather than buying one but to ask around to see if anyone has an unwanted/unused one that you could have as theya re quite expensive to buy. You have a look on freecycle and see if anyone is offering one on there. Good Luck!

Argos is cheaper, you need a larder fridge, the one without a small freezer compartment in. Good luck hope you get your tort soon.

Thanks ^^ I may try freecycle, but I would prefer to buy a new one, so I know that it will work properly and I can buy it to my own preferences.
Just tryed argos and found this:
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...7;3EFRIDGE.htm
^^This has a very small freezer compartment. Why is a freezer bad? Will affect the temps of the fridge? I like this one as it's small and cheap but I think the freezer will be a problem.

Can't find a small larder one.. if you could point me in the right direction, that would be great! (Excuse my ignorance! I probably missed it).

Thanks for the help so far

Fridge method is very good, but if you have an outbuilding, shed, garage, you can hibernate box method, it's just as worrying first time, but with the right knowledge, is easy, with the aid of a digital themometer, and a set of scales.

Thanks for that ^^ but our garage is converted into a study and we have no outbuildings i'm afraid , so I think the only option is fridge or nothing, and I think i am right in saying that you should hibernate your tortoise as it benefits them in the long run?

Lol. That is the great debate, as you will see through some of the posts on Hibernation it will be your choice.

I have no suitable outbuildings so I used the fridge method.

I used one of the drinks chillers like the 'bud' one you have in your original post. The temperatures did fluctuate a fair bit not enough to concern me.
Someone mentioned on here that if you fill it with drinks and cover up the glass front then they are pretty good. I'll be doing a trial run before next winter to see if I can get the temps a bit more stable
