Rain!
Well we have discussed snow and low temperatures, so thought I would make comment on the rain.
We have some local flooding on the roads here and I am keeping an eye on the water level near the tort outbuilding, so may have to move them. Never had such a problem in spite of our high water table. The forecast this weekend is looking like more rain. Torts today were not moving anywhere. Stayed asleep all day from what I could see. The weather forecaster showed a lovely blue sky today, but certainly not a hint of it in my area. They say that water will neutralise the nerve agent in Salisbury, so I wonder why they still need to decontaminate? (Sorry - rambling now).

Plenty of rain here, then lots of sleet. Friends not too far away had quite a bit of snow, so I’m pleased we didn’t. Nice to look out the window at but our doggie doesn’t like the cold and not at all keen to go outside to do his business with the white stuff on the ground. Pampered pooch or what?!
Hope everything dries out for you, Matt. Spring must arrive soon! Jan, I’m sure Bertie and Beatrice will be awake and raring to go in the next few weeks. Surely it’ll start to warm up in the near future....

I think she could be onto something there !! Gran knows best and this makes sense to me. I have never known such awful weather at start of spring but apparently 1979 started like this. Did anyone go into space that year ? !! CB

Blimey - can it get any worse!
Torts are OK - the water - 4" deep, is still several feet away. Although I wouldn't mind bringing them in as would be lovely to spend more time with them. Space - mmm. I'm definitely the climate warming side and perhaps all that drilling. 1979 - there must have been something as I think we were well into the US space age era.

I have just been listening to the amount of space junk and had a look on line about space and weather.
You are right - space does affect our weather, but more to do with our impact. Space travel, junk, radiation. Perhaps best not to think too much about it. Scary.
