They often will put their heads under water for ten minutes to drink so dont worry-just dont go out and forget they're in their bath!

Hi ya
I have had billy for 3 months, forums stated baths everyday or every other da, didnt matter as soon as i put him in he wanted out, so ended up bathing him once a week. he does clamber in to his water bowl doesnt drink it wees in it then biggers off. I have found the best time to bath them is in the morning when there still half asleep as they arnt so active and will quite happily chill there for 10-15 mins without trying to escape. maybe try that :0 :0 |

Just very recently I found a dish that I thought would do as a drinking dish but one of my juveniles sometimes climbs in there and gives herself a bath. Its in the coldframe so the water is probably nice and warm and she likes to sit in it for a while then gets out. This is the first time I've seen any of mine 'deciding' to have a bath.
In the past I've always avoided any water dish big enough for a bath due to drowning fears.
