Daryn, lumisol is due this week - do you reckon I can nail it to a trellis and create a make shift hide? Happy to wait and see what it looks and feels like. My old plastic has rivets - is that right word? - to stop it tearing so not sure how the lumisol will works and how I can tie it.... I use a piece of old plastic to front up an old shed to keep the rain off. I am quite excited to experiment.

Where did you get your Lumisol from? I have tried a number of places locally with no joy. I can get it off the internet but was thinking £20 postage was a bit excessive, but if that is what it is generally then that is what I shall have to pay x x x. Hugs x x

I did get it from a link Daryn provided - I thought I did - im useless on the 'ol computer. Northern polytunnels - £10 postage 9.2 mtres wide and I bought 3 metres - now its arrived today I think I may have overdone the amount but then again I only wanted to pay one postage! we live we learn ! if Daryn can get it cheaper for you that's fab.

You could use what you need then sell some on to try and get some money back. Is the package heavy or big as it seems alot for delivery. I didnt see the postage price TBH

all in all it cost me £44 for 9.2 metres x 3 m. I have spent so much on mini pop up greenhouses which go brittle over the years and cloches I am actually fine with it . I can see why £10 is charged as it was a little heavy but not that I couldn't carry it or the delivery person couldn't throw it over the fence!! but I think that's the minimum price not sure. My naughty little girlie Horsfields have cracked two panes in the greenhouse so I am going to experiment also and make a frame up and glue (greenhouse tape) it in....watch this space - literally.

Thanks Daryn, I tried Two Wests and Elliot in Chesterfield as they were supposed to be suppliers but they said they ordered it specially and the postage would still apply. Mind you they did give me some netting to cover babes enclosure.....
A few other places who advertise selling it have said the same....
X x x. Hugs x x x

Ive not actually handled the Lumisol myself yet but was told its really tough stuff. Im not going to get a chance to price it up from different places today as my fencing is coming, what time it will arrive I dont have a clue lol but I should get round to it by the end of the week or beginning of next week.

You guys act quickly lol, somethings mentioned and wham your there lol.

I like a bargain. Lets see what we can do anyway.
