Hedghoge food
Has anyone used or know of 'spikey relish' hedghoge food?
I was told to get some for Billy but before getting some i wanted to know if its ok|? thanks |

Hi Babs,
I personally wouldnt use the prepared foods but mainly because a) mine dont like stuff like that and b) it is mostly prepared for wild hedgehogs. Its cheaper and better to use a good quality cat biscuit and a little bit of what you have for dinner. They can eat cooked meat as long as its not seasoned and loved cooked veggies. They like cat food too...chicken flavour is a favourite in my house. |

I think the shop brought foods are more aimed at supplenting a wild pigs food, for those who have a little visitor and like to put something out, the wild pigs would still get all their other slugs/worms etc if your talking about a pet pig then I wouldn't have thought there was sufficient in them as the only food.

I'm no expert, but I thought hedgehogs only ate dog food.
