How big is yours?
Does anybody know the average fully grown weight of a male and female Testudo Hermanni?
They are both about 8 years old: Male - 450g Female - 660g Is this normal and how much more weight will they put on? |

they're not a subspecies, they're just Testudo Hermanni, the smallest of all the Hermanni i think. I know that they max at 180-200 mm in length, and are a bit smaller than Hermanni Hermanni and boettgeri.

they sound more more Testudo Hermanni Hercegovenis if you have been told they grow to a max of 18-20 cm as testudo Hermanni Hermanni adult size and considerably smaller then that at full grown.
Dawn Pictures would be very helppful to determine there correct name plastron shot and carapace shot too. |

Have you checked them on the Jacksons Ratio? Mine are 10 and the males are 14 cm (cant remember without my notebook) around that-and are 550gm which is low normal, but the females of the same age are a good inch or two longer but are over twice the weight
Need to find the MacMillam? ratio-had it printed out somewhere-want to see if my 'seized' Horsfields are doing ok. |
