I have been reading ALOT on pyramiding since my Adonis and Aphrodite both came with some and I DONT want it getting worse, it doesnt seem to have since I had them but my fear is should I go for the hymid and wet spraying the table and torts daily route or continue watching their diet like a HAWK?

I would say hydration is very important, both in terms of bthing them & their environment. Lots of things are said to contribute to it, but I would say hydration is good insurance

You don't want the enviroment soggy or dry Laura, you want it inbetween. Hydration and preventing your tortoises from becoming dehydrated are all parts of whats needed to keep them growing well.

A watering can would be better, misting doesn't really do much. You want the soil fairly moist.

Even better would be an irrigation system, built in sprinklers etc and a Sultry Shelter, humid hides are so last year.

Hot basking spots (above 34c) = Having to overcompensate with higher humidity levels (excessive soaking/spraying/misting/whatever.)
Moderate basking spots (30c to 34c) = Less humidity compensation.

Asda had pressure sprayers for £3, it's basically a mister but it holds 3 litres and has a pump plunger thing on top that you pump until it's full of air then you pull the trigger and spray the soil. Only thing is I think Asda's garden stuff may have been replaced by Christmas stuff now. I bought a Hozelock one from B&Q after my Asda one packed in but they only hold 1.5 or 2 litres and was about £11 or maybe £8 or something
