Do the police think it is a bad idea to go to the local paper?

Years ago we had a tortoise that used to climb a wire fence. We watched him do it, lol
It was way back in the day when people used to let their tortoises do their own thing. 'Torty' ( very original I know) used to go off for months and then just turn up.

Hi,
Just a thought, have you told the Suffolk Tortoise Group? They meet, I think, the 1sy Wednesday of every month in Bury St Edmunds at Moreton Hall vets. I know that there are people who come from Ipswich, could help spread the word to tortoise lovers in that area? Row xx |

Hi,
Not a problem. I'm not sure of the contact number but I'm sure if you telephone the vets they would have one. I think the guy is called Dylon who runs or least speaks there. Also the thread below has people who have been so they may have contact details might be worth private messaging them http://www.shelledwarriors.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=43279 Good luck in your search. We sat in the garden today and Bill was blundering about - Ben was penned off along a pathway, on concrete to wear his nails down.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a tortoise! I was so thrilled, thinking it was Sid! .... Ben had blasted his way (he's a hooligan!) out of his pen to get to Bill I went from high to low in seconds. We've spent all day out in the garden with the animals and tending to the plants etc... still no sign of him. Even my OH, who has been convinced he is 'hiding somewhere' now thinks he is not in the garden |
