Default What species

I follow garden state tortoise on instagram , they have just posted about the Testudo Graeca anamurensis. I’ve never heard of it, obviously it’s a graeca, so I’m guessing from North Africa , but can anyone tell me any more, I’m curious, as I have an interest in graecas. What country are they from, Gordon ?

But it doesn’t say which country it’s from, is that the Ibera , that we all know from Turkey? But just didn’t know it’s fancy name ? Or is it another North African

Ok I’ve found the blurb on it now, very interesting. A rare Turkish species, looks very similar to the Ibera.

I can spend so much time browsing his website and just admiring all the photos.
I hadn't noticed his tatts until you pointed them out, Clare. They're faded so I expect he's had them for a while. Maybe he has a mate with a tattoo gun....

Sorry been busy they are what I call Turkish iberas and some can be also called terresteris (golden greeks) even though they aren't propper ones.

Sorry Suze you actually did say that on your original post. It must have been the tattoos...
