I've checked on the egg tonight,it looks ok and their is something moving around! Their is no smell so I assume everything is ok it's day 53 thanks for your replies

This is a recent picture of the egg as you can see the air bubble is smaller at the top and the egg has changed to a dark colour from about a third down! Getting worried now as I've checked loads of egg pictures and most if not all fertile ones stay white. I guess I'll just have to wait and see,it's day 55 now by the way!

Looks very close to hatching. What often happens just before it pips is the air pocket is no longer visible and the egg when candled looks full up. Expect to see some very different pictures to those real soon.

The pictures you have shown previously looked good and the fact you mentioned movement has made me think all was good. I have to say this colour is not what I would expect to see in a healthy fertile egg. You have already said that it has no bad smell to it, so I would leave it and see how things develop. I have had eggs go this colour but normally they are dried out inside or gone bad. Please give this one a chance though the fact your saw movement does give some hope.
