Were they fed on weeds/salad etc before? When I first got Freddie he didnt eat anything...until I found out all he ate before we got him was pellets, once I got some he ate them right up! Now he eats greens too Maybe if you squeeze some cucumber or tomato juice over it they'll be tempted x

Thanks for that, yea they were fed on weeds and lettuce before, ive had a variety of weeds, flowers and cactus out but they have never eaten any from what i can tell, though they often trample and sit on it! They also have readi grass, and ive put soaked grass pellets out too with no luck ive just got some living lettuce so im trying a bit of that tonight, and ill try the cucumber trick tomorrow! thanks fingers crossed... Try the tomatoe trick too When I got Clyde he wouldn't eat untill I mixed a little tinned tomatoe (no salt) with his weeds/lettuce.

ooh ok, well that gives me a few days worth of ideas to try! thanks everyone just purchased some pro-alpin so will give that a try when it arrives too. when my hubby is off work after next week ill get him to take pics of weeds all over the garden, sadly my bad neck wont let me bend down or go out in the cold might find more tasty treats for my little guys Louise x

I've just ordered some more Plantain and Dandelion plants from Nutrascape. Works out a little expensive but well worth it.

OMG!!! Swarley is eating!!!! used the cucumber trick... and he is tucking into the living lettuce we got im so excited!! Sheldon on the other hand just sniffed it and went to hide, but hey.. im half way there yahoo!!!! Thank you so much for the advice Louise xx
