2 x 4 year old THH (boy & girl ), 3ft table incuded
Hi there i am looking to re-home Axle & Oz (hatched late 2006) we purchased them in summer 2007 from someone who didnt do their homework and they werent being suitably cared for, Azle weighed 202g and Oz only 87g even though same age, since being with us they have moved from their tub of sawdust into a 3ft x 3ft wooden table top on wheels with a sand/soil mix and wood chip area (photo's will be added soon), also have combined uvb / heat lamp (bulb cost £50 ) and clip on dome holder.
They have brought up by us on a diet of dandelions, chick weed, rose petals etc etc with occasional strawberrries and tomatoes, Oz has now caught up and weighs a healthy 274g and measures 11cm , Axles growth has slowed down and is 328g and 12.5cm in length. I am aware this sale requires me to micro-chip prior to selling but i cannot afford to do this until i have a geniune buyer ready as micro chipping is included in total price. so please do not remove ad . i have advertised here because i want to make sure they go to a home that cares about torts and understands their needs properly. Would prefer both to go together as they have always been kept as a pair and are happy living in same box, i will include photo's for confirmation of sexing but am fairly sure its one boy and one girl and as Oz constantly keeps mounting Axle i assume their getting near breeding age ? (not an area i looked into) so im sure in the right conditions some babies could be made . Reason for re-homing is purely lack of space, my son has always kept them under a mid-sleep bed but now he is older he wants a bed on the floor and then the tortoise table will not be able to go underneath anymore and we dont have room elsewhere at home Buyer will need to collect from Maidstone Kent ME17 4DU pls send any questions and viewing most welcome. thanks Michelle

What a shame you talk about them with such affection and have obviously worked hard to keep them well & happy.
Good luck, I hope you find the forever home you are looking for. Sue, |
