That's really good news just like to mention one little thing put your humidity reader on the other end of the tub as it will be reading high being next to I assume wet sponges.

Ok another update then1st female that laid the 4 eggs on the 15th Dec has laid 8th Jan. She laid 5 eggs this time. I would say that she would be done now. How often do females lay 2nd clutches within weeks of laying initial clutch. I take it that would be her last batch this year?

19 Eggs, incubator is looking full

That's all pretty normal I have had some lay within three weeks after a first cluch and some up to two months apart .
Also never underestimate them they are all different some will lay more than twice and some only once.

Thanks. She surprised me with the second batch.. she wasn't showing any signs like she did before. I just separated her at around 4.00pm by the time I got back in around 5 she was digging away. I've found this is the same time the 3 girls have seemed to nest.

IF they all hatch you will be very busy, but remember to post photos. Will be amazing to see.

Lots of lovely eggs there. Good luck - hope they're fertile. Please let us know how they're doing.

Hey I can see veins on most of eggs now bar the batch that were laid on the 8th. I can see movement too in the eggs laid on 15th Dec Still some time to go the oldest eggs are 32 days today. I've started to make preparation for hatchlings. Has anyone got any pics of there setups for their hatchlings. I'm trying to suss out the best way to set them up. I've got everything crossed for them to hatch.

Second batch off my biggest female. Now this time she laid 6 eggs and buried them however she was still using her back legs once she covered up she then expelled 2 eggs on the surface. My question is are these viable?or she thinking these are duds. I've put them in the incubator to see what happens. She laid 8 eggs in all. My other female that laid 2 batches already has started eating cuttle bone regularly surely there isn't a 3rd in the works.

note also bottom right egg is smaller than normal will that be a dud..
