I'm knackered.....but its gonna be so worth it! *updated*
Today I set about cutting, sawing, segregating, disinfecting etc.. etc.. getting the enclosure multiple tortoise friendly for tomorrow
Heres how I spent most of my afternoon/night - This is what the table did look like - The spare bed turned in to my working area, put down an old sheet to stop things getting messsssy! I cleared the new arrivals side out and went and bought some board from B&Q, measured and cut it up to size to divide the table - I hoovered the remains of the soil up and disinfected the table I diluted some Tamodine and scrubbed the enclosure with it. I boiled the plant pots etc... that had been in the enclosure and that I would be using again and then sprayed them down with the tamodine mix I made - Things started to get a bit messy lol - Next, I emptied the nice new soil in it - And then added the play sand - And mixed it aaaaaalll up Then I just started adding their things back in once they had dried and added a couple of new plants I bought them all today and the new arrivals have a new bowl Puddle exploring her slightly newer surroundings - And after I finally got round to tidying up, it was back to a normal spare room again I needed a good bath after all that Now I just need to pick up the new residents and it will be complete! They are my long awaited christmas present, I have known about them since September/October time, so its been a loooooooooooooooooooong wait Hope you all like my pictures, thought I may as well make a little progress thread to go with it, I'll update and add the new residents pictures tomorrow, hopefully |
