also hamsters live in groups cause they all have there own bedrooms, and they dont have to share, gerbils like to dig, yeah i do, and yeah i know guinea pigs are weaker than rabbits, also birds should have a cage that fits there wing span at a min, i do read alot and i keep up to date with it all, as i love animals and own a lot myself

not all hamsters, syrians will kill another and live solitary lives and I'm sorry but putting a bird in a cage the size of its wingspan is very cruel, do you know that if they don't learn to fly or have the chance when they are young they will never learn, our cockateils have a parrot cage as the others are to small. We had one who'd spent all her life in a small cage and she was never able to fly, I'm sorry but you have said nothing to make me think you are very different from the other petshop staff, however now you are on the forums maybe theres hope for you yet.

as i said min, most birds go into big cages, and have free flight, birds have to eat there weight in food to live, if they dont they will become ill, and this is a tort forum not a small animal forum or fish forum, so i will stick to reading books and training and what ever else i am asked to do, and i know people who have syrians in a group with no problem because they have there own bed rooms,

please don't ever advise someone that they can keep Syrians together, they don't live together after about 8-10 weeks and will attack and kill each other, maybe you're getting confused with the smaller Russian which will live in groups. This may be a tortoise forum but you posted a thread in the general section and many of us do keep other animals.

i dont advise syrians live together, and i know russians, chinese and rober's can, but this person owns syrians, and has them together in a massive cage, never brought them from us, but she has showed me pictures of them. and i aint stupid i do know that they dont live together, and i dont even advise people breed them, and i have seen syrians fight
