Default Wormcount results...

Hi, could you please advise on these results.

Darwin:
Oxyurids: 200epg (Previously it was 60epg around October time I think)
Tachygonetria: <20epg
Tape worm: none seen
Protazoans: none seen

Archimedes:
Oxyurids: <20epg
Tachygonetria: <20epg
Tape worm: none seen
Protazoans: none seen

Still waiting for my little one to poop in the bath or see her pooping in the enclosure so I know it's definitely hers.

Hi Becci, sorry I hadn't seen this in the new posts until now. Archimedes is certainly fine but Darwin seems to have a moderate amount of eggs seen under the microscope. I'm not sure at what age/weight you can start to worm, so that is worth checking, but Panacur is so easy to use, so don't worry.
How much does Darwin weigh?

I agree with Emma one of Darwins seems a little high.
If you look on the worm count results, they give you a key underneath your results showing you what is a low to high result.
Which Panacur have you got. I use the liquid small animal 10% , the dose for this is 0.05 /0.1ml per 100 grm , so you would need a 1ml syringe for this. But I'm not sure at what age or weight you can start doing this, if in doubt ask a vet, or Danny.

Becci,

I wormed a couple of juveniles that my daughter bought for me over the internet a couple of years ago, they weighed 60gr at the time. You could see the worms in there poo so heavily infested.
I use the 18.75% Panacur from Pets at home, you need to tell them it's for a dog and they need the weight of the dog before they sell it to you. I don't know off the top of my head what amount it was, but there used to be a chart on internet for this. Saves a lot of money than going to a vets.

Becci,

Go to totally tortoise there is a Panacur calculator on there for 10% and 5% Panacur. You just type in the weight and it tells you how much.

Thanks all, Andy, thank you, I found that last night when I was looking around. I'll go to pets at home today. x

Would you suggest putting them on newspaper?
Leave them on paper for a month? Or just for a few days after the first dose?
Do I need to do a re-test after 2 doses?
Thanks in advance xx
