The girls first trip out in the sunshine!
Hey me again But I had to post these pics as its the girls first trip out in the sunshine and to grass today they loved it! Suddenly Athena (who normally spends all day sunbathing under her lamp) came alive and was bombing around the place! Even Xena was shocked to see her sister move Here they are:
Athena Eating Grass Athena in the leaves Xena Both girlies Xena Xena liking the look of the leaves Athena "this blade of grass will hide me, she'll never know I was here!" Xena this can only end in tears there's a big dip there Sorry guys I know its a lot of pics (again) but I couldn't resist

They look lovely, I have popped a few of mine out today, its a bit colder than it was earlier in the week though, so I suspect they will need to come in soon.

I know it was chillier than I thought it was once we got out there but I've been dying to get them out all week but by the time I finish work its dark so they couldn't go, and the sun was shining through the window and they hadn't been out at all since I've had them so I thought 15 mins would be ok and they loved it Now they're back under their lamp and having a little sleep I think all that excitement has tired them out

Are they really weeny in size ? They look like they are quite dinky torties ! I find ti very hard to tell the sizes of tortoises from picture when there is nothing to put them in context, Maybe we could put rulers next to them or a house brick so they can be judged ? maybe not - wouldn't make a great picture !
