Default if weeds are not growing??

hi all,
I know tortoise's are much better off on weeds and I will be feeding them as many as I can, but at the moment there are no weeds growing and my own planted ones are taking forever. what veg and salad type food is ok to feed baby hermanns for a temporary measure until my weeds start to grow, as I've obviously got to feed them something.
Many thanks
Sammy

Hi Sammy,

I'm having the same problem so inbetween weeds (when I'm lucky to find any!!!) I give my little girl floretti salad (or ASDAs own mixed salad which has the same leafs in it but cheeper!!!)

I have also just put a post on freecycle.com for 'weeds' offering to go and pick weeds from peoples garden/allotments. Within 5 mins of posting I had a reply from someone who's just got a overgrown allotment that needs weeding - though I haven't replied yet cos all I want to do is pick what I need, she might think I'm gonna weed the whole thing!!!!
