Default WOW I GOT EGGS

Wow i have just seen my tortoise (hope) lay her first proper EGGS iam well CHUFFED !!!! i had the incubator ready cos shes been acting funny!!!
she has layed 5 good sized ones and 3 tiny very round ones !!!! So my next question is how long does it take for the eggs to hatch (if they are gonna !!)

It will depend on what tempreature you incubate at.



I'm sure someone will be along shortly with a much fuller explanation.

If you incubate at 32 celcius then about two months, lower temps a bit longer. Always best just
to leave them. You can torch them to see if you can see blood vessels in the egg.
Please whatever you do dont turn them, as this can kill the hatchling.
