Okay- just been out for a walk with the dog so I could leave her alone!
Got a video of her 'reflex digging' in the hemp- shes going mad!!
Ill see if I will be able to get the eggs up to someone with an incubator near me LOL, shes still digging, but not actually moving the soil.....

I'm going to upload the vid to youtube after ive had my lunch

Josh I have used an airing cupboard to incubate eggs, before I knew better<g>. I have hatched
four torts this way. Not ideal but until you set up something else it will do. I did put a container of
water in with the eggs to help with humidity.

Hi Sandy- Unfortunatley we don't have an airing cupboard- Our Boiler is a wall mounted one in the kitchen.
I think if She lays I will be able to get hte eggs to an experienced breeder, as My thermostat hasn't even been ordered yet (waiting till dad gets in!)
Hes getting the polybox for me from work today.

She's calm now and is munching some Dandelions under her lamp!

Im not so calm- deffo not layed, I have patted the soil down and none of it was disturbed!

Im gonna dig in the nesting box one more time, then I'll pat it down ready for tommorow.

The funny thing was- no nests actually got done, just lots and lots of scraping!
