Supplements...

So i've got 3 different supllements:

Nutrobol
TNT
Limestone flour

Can anyone elp me devise a way to give these supllements without packing Oscar up the the brim

I know Nutrobol should be given twice a week....

TNT says on the packet to dust on there food 2 a week but you can;t overdose on it becaise its just ried up weeds and flowers...

And Limestone flower i'm not sure of...

If i give him Nutrobol one day, tnt the next, then nutrobol, then limestone flour, i feellike i'm giving him far too much or is it ok?

I'm confused...

this is what i do. i do not give mine TNT. i bought a great shaker from dazza. i measure 7 spoons of limestone flour and 2 spoons of nutobal. i mix it all together and shake the mixture over the food.

Not sure of TNT

Limestone flour every day- you cannot overdose on this (more the better)

You can mix nutrobal with limestone flour at a ratio of 7 llimestone and 2 nutrobal.

Is TNT from tortoise_health off ebay? If so, I wouldn't bother giving it to the torts, it has low nutritional value, and the lady selling them is a nasty piece of work.

Are you only supposed to give them Nutrobal about twice a week? I have ben giving it vince about 5 out of 7 days a week...is this too much?

others every day as has been recomended recently on TT

I have made a mix of nutrobal and limestone flour, put it in a salt shaker and dust every feed.

Hi Christy
Your tort is a hatchling please give the nutrobal daily as mentioned in the care sheet. Andy has researched this carefully on TT and states that hatchlings need it daily, older adult torts less frequently. Supplements can be overdosed on and to give two seperate supplements woudl be the same as giving a double dose of one. Limestone is pure calcium carbonate and as such can be offered freely. If you only give nutrobal 2-3 times weekly though you may find poor growth ensuing. Hope this helps.

I just use nutuobal i have put in a cuttlebone as well ,do i need to use limestone flour if so were do get limestone flour from.My tort is two years old i use it everyday.
