just seen the photograph ! lovely little one. Make sure he doesn't nibble on the wood chip Charlie as it can swell up in his stomach. Ideally some coco coir or little bit of soil is better for them until they go out in the pen. Has your new friend a name? CB

i calling him rocky
the photo is of the person where i got him from hes on soil now keeps digging but he cant get out
but its to cold for him to go outside now

i got his friend today i wanted to give them chance after spending 16years in a vivarium
how often do i give them vetch or clover i been growing lots of it

can do so daily ! and variety of weeds. Nice little friend too ! lovely tortoises , you should be very pleased, and how much better out of a vivarium ! well done CB
