It's the same with some Leopard, sulcata, redfoot, chaco, graeca... populations. It makes no difference to me... It's all a mess with no real order... but they can now be imported into the US.

The way they see it Kinixys belliana has a very restricted range and the northern part is now Kinixys nogueyi (with 4 clawed and 5 clawed populations (possible subspecies)). The DNA seems to confirm all named species are proper species. They also elevate K. b. zombensis to species level.
