watch it doesn't get to dry in the box if youre using paper towel, I've had tinies and they seemed to seek out the humid area more than the bigger ones. I assume because they are so tiny they get dehydrated quicker.

If the container is big enough, you can put in a shallow dish of water, this will help some:0)

Use a deeper container. I water my substrate & put their hide in warmer area, this causes humidity & all of mine head for this hide to sleep in at night. They emerge in the morning with the humidity on their shells (along with mud! lol) Regular bathing will help too & the water dish of course.

Mine went into the hatchling table as I thought having the others about would give the tiny a bit more encouragement and I thought it worked. The tiny was always first in for the food etc although I did have to build up the soil around the food tile as it couldn't get up the slight ledge. I also found that the others seemed to be more carefull around it, almost protective, but if you are keeping it by itself I'd add something to make a humid area. What about the Spagnum moss, I've never used it but have heard of owners that swear by it, perhaps a little pile that baby can bury in if wanted but make sure its warm and humid not wet and cold so it would need to be near the heat. Maybe soak it with warm water rather than cold, it might be worth a try and maybe putting a small plastic pot over the top would keep the moss damp and warm for longer. Anything is worth a try and you can buy the moss from a garden center if not a reptile shop.
