Default A strange bargain perhaps

but phil taylor only loses short games so at 1/12 he isn't value for a win in Dooblin tonight. Gary Anderson is on offer all over at 6's and 7's to beat him but he's a whopping 12/1 on Betfair if you're quick

You will have heard of Phil Taylor the darts player and his winning ways for 20 odd years? Well usually in the TV tournaments it's just first to win x amount of legs and you don't need a double to start. Over the duration of the game Phil wears his opponent down because he wins about twice as many legs as his opponent.

Tonight, they need to start with a double and then it's first to win 3 legs, wins a set. First to get 4 sets is the winner.

Basically, Anderson has a better chance of beating him tonight than he would normally so it's decent odds http://uk.site.sports.betfair.com/be...r&currency=GBP

Alan, are you channeling John McCririck (don't know if that's how you spell his name and don't care either, he's an odious, misogynistic, bogie eating, disgusting and quite disturbing, little git, John that is not Alan)

That's good odd's on Anderson, Alan has passed on this info for a reason. If you put a Tenner on Anderson and wins, you will recieve enough money to by a Med hatchling, simples.

What a game that was. Anderson was 2-1 up in sets and 2-0 up in legs and had a throw to to make it 3-1 in sets but missed and Taylor got back to 2-2 in sets. Anderson then went 3-2 up in sets but Taylor came back to win by 4 sets to 3

The beauty of Betfair is the fact you can change your bet as it goes along so I laid Anderson when 2-1 up which in effect cut my original odds from 12/1 to around 8/1. Doing this means that you lose nothing at all if your man loses.

Usually I lay football teams who are odds on but have not been not playing well. You are actually taking someone else's bet so if for e.g someone backs Liverpool and I lay them, that person is needing Liverpool to win and I am needing them to draw or lose. If Liverpool were 1/5 to win and you laid them for £5, that would mean if they won you pay out £1 and if they didn't win you get the other person's £5

That was a very impressive tip Al! Pity I didn't see it until the match was over or I might have headed over to Betfair!
