I do clean the eggs mostly, but I was so stunned at the time this female laid the eggs, I didnt
clean these. The female showed no signs of being gravid at all.
The little one has now hatched and absorbed the egg sack. So will take pictures later.

If a hatchling is born with a large egg sack how long does it take to absorbe the egg sack?

Hi Sarah

Well this morning there is not much left of the egg sack, just an orange glow<g>. But he/she
has gone into hiding. So more photos will come later, as I dont like to stress the hatchling.
He/she had no extra heat over night, just the heat from my kitchen. Put a lamp on him/her at
seven this morning to warm up. When he/she was more active, I checked her sack, saw most
had been absorbed. So he/she is now in the indoor enclosure with a UV lamp.

A picture of the new baby having a bath, and the underside, where the egg sack was.
