The MegaRay is the same price as the arcadia. I don't think they would sell any otherwise.

I'm reconsidering my own use of this sort of lamp. For me they still have a role to play but not as the sole source of heat and light. Tortoises don't seem to be in need of endless hours of uvb exposure every day. I'm still thinking this through but am moving towards a set-up where a lot of the time the heat and light is provided by non-uvb sources.
