Which weed/plant seeds have grown best/quickest for you?
I'm thinking of getting some more weed/flower seeds soon. Many of the seeds i've already got are quite slow to grow/don't grow as well as others.
Successful ones i've had are: Milk thistle (grows so quickly!) Red clover Nipplewort (i think its that anyway, its out of a mixed seed pack) but many don't seem to grow much, or take too long to establish so are eaten by slugs :P So before i place an order, I just wondered what other people have had success in growing so that I can buy some good-growing weeds if that makes sense? Thanks

You could try Sarahs quick growing mix, I think vetch grows quickly, clovers, shepherds purse, calendula, all thistles. lots of weeds do take time to grow, but am weed picking like crazy, and leaving my home grown weeds for winter, so hope they grow huge from now til then!

Dandelion has also been pretty successful for us too, though our first attempt growing dandelion did not go well. There were only tiny shoots, and eventually-despite our spraying and care-they shriveled up and died. However, second time lucky We got shoots in a few days and they're still growing very well. It is good to grow your own dandelions rather than pick them on a weed hunt, because that way you know that no dog or cat has came and went to the toilet on them Whereas, if they're in your garden, a cat wouldn't pee in them, and a dog wouldn't jump the fence and go to the toilet

Tufted vetch by miles and I'm growing a large selection of seeds! I'm still amazed at the rate of growth!
