Thumbs down Lost Tortoise in Kirkham PR4

Hi Guys, my little horsfield escaped from her outside
enclosure on Monday 22nd July. I have informed all the vets
And put up cards in the local shops. Dropped flyers through
surrounding houses. Any further advice?

I hope he turns up!!

You tried making sure he hasn't dug down in yours or a neighbouring garden?

Hi, worried sick about her. We have prodded my garden and adjoining gardens to see if she has dug herself down. No joy. I am hoping she just appears but I am sure she would move for her food. She is a greedy little mite.

Fingers crossed for you, they can dig down deep so she may still not be far...

I think the fact that she went missing on the hottest day of the year says that there is every chance that she has dug in somewhere. I have a youngster that has been dug in through all of this hot weather, I haven't seen her for about 3 weeks but I know she can't escape the enclosure! I have dug around about 5 times now and can't find her, that is in an enclosure that is only 5 feet in diameter so it can be really tricky to locate them. I expect she will turn up in time, keep searching!!

Thanks guys for your positive replies. I have turned over her enclosure down to the wire. No joy. Gutted. I have replied to the person on RFUK a few days back but as yet they have not replied. They don't state their location. We will keep searching. Thanks again
