Default Lost a piece of shell??

Whilst sorting Herbie out yesterday I found a piece of shell on his table it looks like a piece from round thedge (the frilly bit!) I can't see where it's come from and he doesn't seem affected by it.
So is it normal?

Hi Lightheaded,

I am only cathching up on the past few days posts and stumbled accross your post.

I would assume that the shell has only been chipped off your tortoise by something harder than its shell. Without seeing a picture or knowing how big a piece its hard to give you a proper answer to your question.

This reply post will bring it back up the list and perhaps someone else might have a better idea.
