Default bubbles in eye

hi again, i have just been to my friends and her tortoise seems to have bubbles in his eyes.... she said he had somthing in one this morning that was like gooey sleep!! she got this out with a cotton bud but now there's what looks like tiny bubbles in both of his eyes.....! do torts cry? i mean like we do if we get somtning in our eyes?!?!? i told her to get some liquid tears from the chemist... is that the right advice? and i have just e-mailed her with my vets number if it gets no better... now i know tha bubbles on the nose is bad but i have never heard of wet eyes... please help!! mandy -x-

I think you have done the right thing, try the artificial tears first, if this does nothing then a
visit to the vets would be right.

thanks for that sandy... i think bad advice is worse than no advice sometimes and i would hate to think i had made matters worse mandy -x-

she gave him some of the liquid tears this morning and says that he seems much better this afternoon... his eating is fine and he is very active so fingers crossed mandy -x-
