I had spiney stick insects (like the last pic) I think for a while. Am I right in thinking that is a pic of a female and the males have wings and are skinnier?? My sister also had some which laid eggs. Having been told they were almost impossible to hatch she disappeared to uni leaving the eggs in the bottom of the old tank. Unforunatly they did hatch and all for a sudden my parents were stuck with almost 50 of them. Didn't go down well as you can imagine!! lol

Yes you are correct in thinking that that isa female, and the males do have wings!!! lol i guess your parents werent happy, with that many insects, what ever did you do.

I think my sister had to come back after about a month and take them away with her. I think she ended up giving most of them away to friends. I guess they're quite a pratical pet for people at uni. They're gorgeous pics anyway.x
