Josh It's not a hermanns tortoise. It's got ibera greek in it, but I'm having trouble figuring out what else. Might be hermanns or North African graeca. Does it have thigh spurs? or a nail at the end of the tail? A split supracaudal scute? It looks like a male to me also

Its not mine, but i have some photos of her-
Looking at her now, i wouldn't say hermanns because of the patterns around her outside scutes (names on the tip of my tounge.....)
She doesn't appear to have spurs as such, but i am not very good at identifying species to be honest...

Well from the blurry picture I can see thigh spurs and no nail at the end of the tail. The supracaudal isn't split. It's a greek. It might be pure graeca. Hard to tell with out better pictures.

Thanks Dan, i'll get back to the owners
I noticed the lack of tail nail, but thought this may be due to deformity.

Terry yours does look like an Ibera from the single shot and not disimilar from Josh's animal.

Here are two of the Tunisians i have had handed in x holiday suvieneris they are almost identical in markings colour etc.

before anyone goes reporting me to defra ,RSPCA,or the local council i have a licence to hold these animals so don't bother wasting peoples times .
