If this is Septicaemia you need to get your tortoise to a vet ASAP ,

Kirsty this is now in an advanced stage and without sounding harsh you must get vet treatment now or you will more than likely loose the tortoise.

It needs Antibiotics and keeping warm and hydrated , its a lengthy treatment and will be costly

The best you can do is keep the tort as warm as possible and bathe her as often as you can...if you cannot get her to a vet ...how about an emergency vets? it will be costly but antibiotics are needed without delay. I am sorry if this is scary and upsetting but we all want to help you and given that we can only be honest...make her comfortable.

From what I remember of what Sarah has said Hannah is the nearest vet worth using!

I've tried all vets around Birmingham and they are rubbish. Hannah is the only good vet close. Kirsty ring hannah and see what she suggests.
