Question My habistat thermostat is playing up any ideas?

Hi i just moved my tortoise into a tortoise table and just hooked up the habistat thermostat to find out it doesn't seem to work with my 100w prorep basking spot lamp where it does work with my 60w prorep red night spot lamp. I have checked and both bulbs do work. I am using a Exo terra glow light large as a holder. I have turned the dial both ways checked the cables. I just don't Understand as it seemed to work with the vivarium.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Any help is appreciated.

have you checked the box for the thermostat and made sure it will work up to 100w? Its a long shot really...as I on't think I have seen one rated below 100w, But if not and its new try sending it back (sounds faulty)

I just checked and it should be working with the 100w bulb.

Is it coming on at all? Or could it just be that the 100w heats the table quicker than a 60w?

The light on the box is coming on. I will try moving the sensor.

It is now. For some reason it was the sensor it doesn't come on unless the sensor is directly under the light or maybe it could be something like when you have to lean a certain way when your headphones are broken because there is no connection. I think there could be something wrong with the wire.
