common snapper
as you can imagine she wasn't best pleased about being taken out of the water, she's developed a serious attitude problem since she was last out for pictures but i still have all my fingers! pic on the top was taken 14/2/09 - the one on the bottom was today 09/08/09 |

she looks aggressive!!! i dont know much about turtles at all but thats a small shell!

im not sure how old she is exactly but i have had her since febuary, she has a shell leangth of about 5" & they are very agressive & very fast, the neck can reach quite a way back over the shell,

i would say not really, they get huge but i will be able to offer a large enough outdoor enclosure when she gets big, i found her in a garden centre for £35 but some how the girl on the till rung her in for £3 so i paid & made a sharp exit! she eats a large selection of inverts like B.Dubia roaches, locusts, rainbow trout, salmon, worms & she seems to love koi wheatgerm pellets, i think she would eat pretty much anything given the chance, i gave her a pinkie the other day for the first time & she swallowed it whole & in about 1 second flat
