showers, showers and more showers. You have to wonder where these words come from because they are not latin and then think cave man days were 'showers' called showers ? because we now have electric showers which brings me back to my point - chicken and egg - what came first because it was like stand under an electric shower today........its late and im peed off with the rain. And it's still raining today!

Beatrice is just not moving - so put a lamp on for her. Bertie goes out in the rain and gets wet and cold.

At least the weeds are growing again!

Short-lived if it was. Lots of puddles here today. It's that time of year when I usually declare we'll have an Indian summer.

I think that's summer over and done with, I don't mean to sound all doom and gloom , but I don't think August is going to be much good, it often happens , I mean August turns all cold and miserable , let's hope for an Indian summer in September, or the torts will soon be thinking of winding down , and that's another year over, and winter will soon be in full swing and then it will be Christmas before you know it. and then we've got the long cold months of January and February to struggle through

Wind and rain today. Two flower pots went over

I have decided that Beatrice is my weather barometer. IF she is not moving in the morning forget it, the whole day will be miserable.
