Last night I was freezing cold till about 2 am then boiling hot and today I feel a bit better and I probably should of gone to hospital but I'm being a man and trying to beat it at home.
My reason for not going is all they will do is put me on iv antibiotics to which my thoughts are I'm taking 12 a day at the moment so not sure if it would achieve anything or maybe I'm just being stupid.
Well IV antibiotics just work so much quicker and can deal with an infection better, but if they’re already in your system through your tablets, then I’m not sure if IV gives a higher dose or not - possibly.
I think if your temperature starts to spike you’ll have to go in, but let’s hope it was just a Sunday one-off.
Good news the surgical sites seem to be healing though. Let’s hope that continues.

My temperature is sitting steady at 36.7 bizarrely even though I have just spent the last hour sweating like heck but stopped now so all good.
It's not going to get the better of me.

Well still feeling rubbish and I can only describe it as triple man flu and a bit more.
Spoken to Mary on the old fashioned thingy called a phone this morning and promptly got told off
But on a plus side I've just had a dressing change and I now have scabs over a lot of it

Well done, Mary!
Maybe it is flu you’ve got, but it’s worth checking out either way.
Is this the first time you’ve had scabs on your wounds?

Yes and I'm quite excited about it lol.
The only thing I'm not happy with is the weight loss has stopped as I really need to get some sort of exercise going so my 11 pack belly is in my eyes looks horrible as where the scars are it all dips in a lot and I now am struggling to even look at it.
So I'm thinking no speedos this summer.

That’s a good sign then, having scabs forming.
Urgh to the weight loss slowing down. Perhaps it’s because your metabolism is recovering now you’re not so nauseous?
I think it’d be incredible not to have strange little dips where the scars are, considering the number of surgeries and wounds. Think of them as dimples - a sign of beauty.
Maybe you won’t be your usual ripped self this summer but there’s a challenge for you to work towards for next summer instead.

Don't worry once we have moved into our new abode we will be able to find plenty for you to do so that you get back in trim and then when you've finished your chores you can sit by the brook for a spot of fishing! In the meantime of course you need to listen to Auntie Mary and get back to the doctor if you still have a temperature and aches in your joints just in case!!!
