Default Margies are up !

I decided to wake up Beau and her margies Sunday as they have been hibernating for ages.

Took a few little pickies around the garden now it isn't so much of a mud bath and raining cats and dogs.

Little Margie is so tiny he fits into palm of hand still over three fingers. He has his own tortoise table as the others would squash him. He has been up all Winter for no other reason than I would miss him.

Lovely to see them all, Clare.
The garden is slowly coming back awake. I love watching the renewal of colour in the spring. It still seems strange that they could be outside again basking in a few weeks. Right now I can’t imagine it being warm and dry enough! But we’ve had such hot Aprils before.
Look forward to seeing more photos.

Beautiful pictures! I especially love the clump of dandelions! You must have a lovely garden.

Blimey Clare they have grown! What sort of weight/ age are they now? Is the little one a non grower or later addition? He's adorable.

I know what you mean about mud baths!
I had eighteen huge over grown conifer trees removed last Thurs/ Friday. Omg dust in places I didn't know I had! My 25ft raised bed full of lovely weeds... Full of tree logs! & my lovely lush back lawn that my margies love to graze.. Well is, now a brown sea of mud!

I have been working so hard bits in the Autumn and lots since xmas. I (stupidly) made a list of all improvements needed for each set up & then did them! One after another... At the same time been decorating (just for good measure!) now got no nails, very tired but looking forward to some sun & relaxing tort watching this spring / summer, fingers crossed.

thank you all - yes lynne , yes most are heavy into 750 grammes and over , Beau is very heavy now, she is around 14 I think and the others must be at least 5, and older - they were different batches and grew at different rates also. They live in a wendy house and have the lawn to feed on. Ilove margies they are so docile, except one big boy I have who is over half a stone east and hisses like a snake at me. less so now but he is quite savage but lovely all rolled into one , CB
