Usually when you see the little turtles heading for the sea on TV documentaries there's always the seabirds swooping down, so it was really nice to see them successfully getting to the sea without being picked off. Probably wishful thinking on my behalf that there weren't any predators but it was very sweet to see them getting off to a good start.

it is sort of an awful survival rate isn't it , something like 1 in 10,000 - not sure I believe that though. There has to be hope its more !! CB
