hi Darren ginger cats are normally male and the tortoiseshell is female at least a very high percentage are any way my son had a good look for us if you google it you can get all the reasons why i cant remember exactly something to do with xy chromosomes.

Terry yes I know but at least 20% of ginger cats born are female , all tortoiseshell are female except the odd one but these are infertile and small .
Was just curious to whether your long awaited tom was really tom D

to be honest Darren its more like a long awaited ginger cat any way so on the off chance its a girl so what our 2 boys have been done and so will this one be .its not that i wouldnt like kittens its just that we would want to keepthem all.
